Purplish Come Back ...

Hello Everyone!!!!

Its been 8 months since i last posted, times flies don't they? Anyway i would like to thank all of my readers and blogger friends for asking after me during this 8 long months of absent. New job is busy and i do work late almost everyday, even though i do leave early sometimes, I'm still occupied by some long overdue stuffs sigh.. time is always never enough for me!

I finally found the time to bake a decent loaf of bread recently, i love the color, simply brightens up my morning when i took photos of them in the morning (yup its always late night baking for me then photo taking when i wake up in the morning), will you smile too when you see these?

Good Old Days - I'm Back

It's been a long break, longer then i expected, but nevertheless I'm back, breathing a little easier now.
I'm suppose to be back earlier but as i was busy going for interviews on the search of a new job thus the delay.
The good news is i finally clinch my new job yesterday after a torturous 3 hours interviewed by 3 different departments HOD, I'm quite excited about this job though, I'll be doing things i never done before in my entire work life, my current job is my first job, I've been in my current company for 8 years, something that was quite shocking to the interviewers hahaha... Anyway bless me in my new job will you ;)).

To celebrate my new job, I baked this cake, to remind me of the good old days and the huge step I'm taking right now especially at this time of the year (Alan, Cathy and lots of my friend are real happy that i finally decided to move on haha).

Just look at that lovely golden hue, makes your day brighter too don't they? a bite into a slice will make my day brighter that's for sure. Moist and crumbly take 1 will you and make a cup of coffee or tea to go with it.

The Craze

Everywhere i went i saw this, uncountable praises and thumb-ups seen in each place, being the lover of this particular fruit how could i resist?

This is a familiar picture that most of us had seen/baked/tasted, fellow bloggers who had baked this gave such wonderful praises that made me crawled out from my bed and baked this last night.... and i must say it's definitely worthwhile.

Black Sesame Macarons with Stabilized Orange Liqueur Whipped Cream

Tried the recipe I Love Macarons by Hisako Ogita recently and found it really good so I'm sharing this recipe with you peeps.

Although i had reduce the temperature to 150C my macarons still turned slightly brown for my previous attempts so last night after the macarons started to puff up i covered the top with an aluminum foil.
